Greeting Abhik,
Your off to a great start with birds, this photo is wonderfull in color, rich in detail and depth of field is spot on, you did great on the focus to avoid the branch by the birds eye. The over sharping is a minor nit/observation. HOpe to see more of your birds soon,

Hi Sandra,
I'm still cutting my teeth with Photoshop so, I might have overdone the sharpening a little bit. Also, I was working on a laptop LCD screen - that might have affected the processing.
Thanks for your comments - this is my first attempt at birds and I hope to improve with time.

Very beautiful image of the female red cardinal, phote seems just a bit oversharped and grainy on my screen. The deepth of field and the capture of life light in the eye is perfect,
