Seems to almost be smiling. Cute shot. It must be difficult on camera equipment, though, in Antartica.

Hi Anglea - this is the only seal that is a serious predator and it is only the fact that it is a young female, probably just fed, that she didn't try to bite my head off.

Oh my gosh! He's smiling at me!!! I absolutly LOVE this shot. Such a cute well-focused closeup. There's enough of the background to give you a feel for the setting. Brrrr.
