Tara sure likes the snow. She has an obsession with water in any form. In the summer, we have difficulty keeping her out of the water. In the winter she shoves her head deep in the snow and will roll on her back making snow doggies.

You can't go wrong with a cute one like this! But you have excellent exposure on the snow and the crop was well done! A lovely color . . . though I doubt it's in the right project. The project description is:
"Attempt to use blur to capture a mood and use it to enhance a photograph. Can you let go of conventional wisdom and explore your imagination? A quote to consider: "As for those who cleanse blurs with blotted fingers, they make it worse." --Fuller"

In this case . . . it's not blur but good use of DOF . . . and a great pet portrait!

Thanks Vanessa. Tara has a real obsession with the water. You can't keep her out of the lake and she goes nuts when you are watering the garden. She loves to do a hose dance.

Hi Markus, we did have a great time playing in the snow yesterday. Our dogs Jake and Tara like to rip it up in the snow. Tara loves to make snow dogs and root through the snow with her muzzle.

What a face! Tara looks so good with snow & ice on her dark fur and her expression is wonderful!
Excellent portrait with tone and exposure preserving the subtle variances in fur colors. Love this one and I will add it to my Favorites.
