Hi Christian... you can see the 2 lower snow patches in this photo near the bottom of the other picture of this glacier that is titled "S". (in the lower right portion of the picture). Hard for me to judge scales but it is a fair distance down from the road at this point. Thanks for the comment. Cheers, Gary
Just like Ina, I was wondering about the scale here. Probably from quite far, since you used a 300mm. Anyway, interesting movement in there, and the texture is unusual, between silky and metallic.
Hi Ina. Actually, one can drive right to this view, and a ways beyond. Just have to cross the border into AK at Hyder, then back into Canada after 10 or 15 km on a well maintained gravel mine road. Could drive a camper up here!! But it still was an adventure (o: I want to go back someday... Cheers, Gary
