Thank-you for your feed back, kind words and insight...I think your nailed it...I hope that you child is safe and doing well...in fact I'm getting ready to head back over to Iraq the 1st part of the year for another 15-18 month tour...which is fine...I can work on some of my photo skills; and some of the feed back from my past photos...I can try documenting a differnet perspective based on a lot of the feed back that I have gotten here at this site...Well I hope that you are enjoying the holidays and I wish you a happy "New Year"...

Quite the image. And the image is perfect . . . it's not political. Our responses . . . even your title . . . might be political . . . but the image stands alone as all truly great images do. The patriot in me makes me think how much more evocative this kind of image is in color . . . particularly since I'm all too aware that the surrounding colors are a good contrast to the American flag. I had all our children at home this year for Christmas except one . . . who is in Afghanistan (10th Mtn. Rangers) and this after serving over a year in Iraq.
This is the kind of image that can be used both for and against War; though that was likely not your intent. But it's the kind of image that all people . . . those for and those against . . . show a solemn respect for.

Thank-you...I'm remeber when 911 happen that the German Soldiers pulled together with us at (CMTC) Hohenfels, Germany...not matter what Army you are in a Sodlier is a Soldier...we are all brothers and want the same thing...Peace...that is why we do what we do...

Ich gebe dir recht das Bild spricht fuer sich selber. Leider sterben zuviele Kameraden im Kampf gegen den Terror.
