This photo has a feel that drew me to take a closer look. Your off center composition gives this shot the needed tension and you get to see just enough of the surrounding space to lend and particular mood and feel to your photo.
This is a soft and evocative image that is very aluring

This is a very lovely monochromatic portrait study my dear Kes. Sometimes part of the memory of the shoot can be destroyed if there is too much postwork done to it. I can imagine how the original would have looked and I think your scan looks great. I love your wife's 'owl' glasses and the wonderful expression on her lovely face.
Sorry to be behind but another busy week at work is leaving me so short of time to do all the things I have to and want to do. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray :)

Hi Andre,
You guessed right! :) It's a crop...the full size scan had some light leaks and I'm too lazy to rescan it. Tried to crop out some of the light leaks here.
lol, we were just commenting on those honkin' big glasses.
