Well Mike . . . this one still works . . . just creative cropping would likely do the trick. Attached an example for you to consider . . . then again . . . I love to shoot 'em too! :)

Thanks for the comments. After posting I realised that it should not be centered.... Rule of threes. I will attempt another shot either tonight or this weekend and see if I cannot acheive better results. Thanks for the comments

Good shot Mike. I'm impressed by the focal clarity at the lower side of this blossom. The composition, to my way of thinking is ok . . . but you might want to try to make the image a bit more dynamic by pulling that blossom out of the center of the shot. It's rare for a shot to be centered without being static and even more rare (IMO) to see a centered image that couldn't be improved by an off-centered composition. The colors look really good and the DOF is spectacular. :)
