Fantastic view Mary and clever concept. These 'in the middle of the road' photos are usually just that, but you've added another element with the person laying down in the middle. Excellent work.

thank you my dear friend Mohammad, for your suggestions and working on this Alternative version , but as you know (I don't know how ) I don't like this cropping and changing.
"A human in the center of the universe!" maybe we can't believe it but we can feel it. some times we want to stop and just look at the sky of this road... of this life. yes some times we need to leave the road and forget everythings on the road....sometimes...sometimes....

Good Work Mary, But I'm eager to see the rest of this series... I leave my suggestions about your asymmetrical composition and the contrast on the Alternative version I made (which I know you don't like!), and about the concept of the shot, I can't believe this, this is not what I (or anyone else) suppose to be, even you: A human in the center of the universe! without any eagerness to go. When you are always in the Center, wherever you go, it's the same, so, just don't move. Roads are for walking, for leaving, for anything but staying!, Sleeping! I think that's why you will be FOREVER on the road, you may just need to leave the road, forget about the road, and don't talk about it anymore. Roads lead to known or unknown destinations, but you even don't know which one your road is looks like. Everyone lives in her/his Own imaginary world, and your world maybe totally different from mine or others, that's the power of Life, we can still live with each other, we must just Don't DENY this. Mohammad

- A fantastic work to come back with, dear Mary! I love the way you compose it with "perspective", my favorite element, and your "view point". Nicely done in B&W! as I see, form of the sky (clouds) and m-key tones of your work, creates the emotions in this photograph. Very creative, poetic and impressive as wel. Nice going Mary khanoom!

"Cheshire Puss", she began, rather timidly, as she did not at all know whether it would like the name: however, it only grinned a little wider. "Come, it's pleased so far", thought Alice, and she went on. "Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to", said the Cat.
"I don't much care where..." said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go", said the Cat.
"... so long as I get SOMEWHERE", Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you're sure to do that", said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."

wow! great! i love this!
A road at the edge of the universe.
It's not easy when the road is your driver. She will only follow the path that leads her to her love. Every step she take, She will always defend, never pretend.
With miles to go before She sleep, miles to go before She sleep...
- - - - - You did well with both contrast and sharpness. Not a easy situation for light control, but light is well controled!
I like the couldy sky, it made your photo more powerful.
Regards Nima
