About I am absolutely terrified of bees, it took some guts for me just to get this shot but I got it. There were some nice flowers along the path but I wouldn't go near them because of the bees.

See below for a second image. :D

what's a trip is that they get pollen dust on their legs and "fur". AS far as I know at least 90% of all the bee's that do the collecting are female bee's. The male bee "drones" pretty much are lazy. If you get a chance you might want to read up on them interesting "critters". Congratulations on overcoming a fear. :-)

most bee's are pretty cool, don't breath on them they don't like the Co2. It's the wasps/hornets that are the pains. Has a very Yin and Yang type of feel. Has also a gentle feel too.

This is beautiful. Love the flower and its position. And to look down and see the bee so close!

Carlen, this is a very clear capture with good dof. Well done considering how quickly these creatures move! The first is the better composition, in my opinion.

Very well done to you for the composition and for overcoming your fear of bees. This is a wonderful capture with great detail and a superb dof. The attachment is also very good indeed and the colour tones to both are beautiful. My very best wishes to you......Ray;)

Good use of DOF Carlen, the flowers really pop out. The bee is a bit dark to really bring out the details, but well done to overcome your fears to get the shots.
