Thank you Mary! I have actually approached the owners of this building to do something about it so it is not bulldozed! I believe it is a national heritage building, as the old service station across the road is and they were built at the same time... (that's all we have in the town...) I am fighting for this building! If I could, I would purchase it... dreaming here though...

The colour and texture really does give the feeling of the past. And the sad atmosphere of its decline. Great image that should start a film of lives around it.

It is understandable that your memories would make you more nostalgic about this building. I have also felt that way about places in my town, since I've lived here almost my whole life. Lovely B&W photo, Aniko!
