Excellent! I love the selective coloring and the overall mood in this scene... the misty atmosphere and the cross set up on the hill in the background really set the tone for this scene. Nice job!

This is so real, Kevin. I can feel the morning mist. The depth is palpable. Too soon the morning monochrome will turn to the bright colors of mid-day.

Wow this is a beautiful capture Kevin!.
A beautiful gold-ish atmosphere and good DOF.
I don't know for sure but I think your horizon isn't straight, it's probably because the boat was a bit tilted to the left so it's hard to have a straight horizon while your concentrating on the boat (I think).
Anyways...Nice shot!.

Superb composiotion. I love the reflections and the way the boat in the background adds depth drawing one's eye through to the background and hbow the rock on the right gives meaning to that part of this gorgeous picture. Your lighting, reflections, and subtle colours all add to the lovely calming mood of this.

Excellent Kevin - great light and atmosphere, very well taken. I like the composition except that it appears a bit out of balance with nothing to the right of the boat. A closer crop may solve this easily. Nonetheless a superb shot! Regards.

I'm enjoying this series very much, Kevin. I'm sure you are making skilled use of PS, as you always do, but it's very subtle, and doesn't bother even an old grump like me. The lighting is wonderful, and you did indeed "get it right." Now I can't make up my mind which ones to put into my favourites. Hmmm. Why not all? ...maybe!

Great shot - calm and controlled. The background is the perfect setting, finished off beautifully with the cross. With such a limited range of colours, some pictures can look bland or devoid of interesting: you avoid this and have created a great image.
I'm curious to know, as a fellow Brit, where in the UK this was...?

This photo is absolutely stunning. First of all, it's an unusual sandy tone. Then we have the mist to set a mood and atsmosphere. Add in the reflection of the boat and the cross in the background and you have a perfect photo.

Fantastic photo! There is more to this picture than meets the eye. I see a cross on a hill in the background, a fish jump splash to the right, the way the tide is out and the mooring buoy waits for it's next "ride".
