INCREDIBLE!! Been away for a while and can see I've missed a lot of your beautiful images! Wow, wonderful detail, colors and you captured the action in your own perfect way! Been shooting grandsons mostly, we just had Mason and Runie with us for 10 days and it was so much fun! Hope to get "back to the birds" soon! Take care my friend and keep sharing your "personality plus" shots! Darlene

Thanks Robert, Actually It is rare to see this position in a photo, but I am trying to deveate from the norm to see how it goes over with my editors. but watching these guys in person they do look up much of the time as they get picked off by raptors so they always keep a eye to the sky... Take care my friend...

Thanks larry I dont always get the opp to catch subjects with enhancing backgrounds and to be honest didnt know they actually added to the shot until recently, but to plan on adding more pleasing background and composition when I do get the chance, why didnt you tell me sooner LOL.. as for the forums, I am very passive and try to get my point accross without any arguments so dont look for any battles from me, but I do really want the CC area to work as I think it would help many people.. Take care Larry.

Thanks Dave, I had to let you know that your comments always stand out to me as you seem to see exactly what Im doing or trying to do and show with each photo! I can post a shot like this and Dare to be different as they say, and you have a great eye for this! I do plan on posting some out of the ordinary shots at times and its good to know that strange looks, body positions which I like at times are also appreciated by a photographer of your calibre! I think Its Photographers like you that are the backbone of UF.

I guess this is the kind of thing we never notice, if and when we see these birds, until an expert photographer like yourself comes along and catches them in the act, Marcus! Apart from the excellent technical detail you've accomplished, this is one of the best things about your photo's, is that we see things we probably never will with our own eyes...the details, colouring and habits of these wonderful creatures. Thanks for sharing with us! Dave.

Hi Marcus, I suppose it is the head position that makes this one unusual. Even though he has his head turned up, his eye still seems to be getting a look into the camera. Another beauty! Andre
