thanks, avi. no. no artificial lighting. there was a storm and the sky was dark, but the sun shined a ray under the clouds and lit up the ground and that is when I took the photo.
I did process this in photoshop elements, but only adjusted the levels.

The color contrast on this picture is truly amazing. Seems like there was some use of artificial lighting, but was there ?
