About	Walking along the Hudson River in downtown Manhattan I passed these piers without a dock. The piers were too interesting too go with a longer lens. I could not use my tripod for this shot, as this was at about 35 degrees below horizontal through a cast iron fence.

You did well to capture this with the connstraints you had....

I actually think the pier is the interesting part of this image and that the duck may distract from the shot.

Its a shame you couldn't get lower and capture the pier at eye level.
