Thanks for your note Jim, it too dragged me into it! It seemed so out of place in the forest, the poly waste drum (not pictured)was an immediate explanation, but the initial sight of the colored water definitely had a "WOW" factor. The silhouette/reflections of the underbrush and limbs really framed the shot itself. This is the raw image with no post production work for color or content. I'm glad it caught your eye too! -john

This is just beautiful. I never would have associated it with pollution. The colours and reflections so striking.

Wow! I can't stop looking at this one. It's almost an abstract but it's not. It keeps drawing me in. I have to analyze why I like this shot so much. Very fine work indeed.
