This is a nice picture clicked in a bright day. In my opinion you could have overexposed the whole frame by +1 EV to bring out the details of the face or alternatively have used the face for the metering which is offcourse difficult in a crowed place like this. At the same time a little blurred background might have improved the shot.
I tried to modify the image according to my taste and I hope you would not mind it.
