I looked at his image before reading your "about" and I was surprised that the background was a piece of fabric. The fabric looks great as the background as you can't see any texture on it which is great.
The detail work on the flower is great and the simple colors are very vibrant.
I like the tight crop you have choosen and the angle at which you choose to show this flower from.
Great job Sal! 7+!
