You have captured her eyes and the lighting on the top half of the shot is so incredibly good I have forgiven you for the dark bottom half!

Thanks all. I took a working copy of the original image and added a spotlight effect in it. Saved it. Opened up another working copy of the original. Cut and pasted on the spotlight image. I created a duplicate layer in the spotlight image, and moved it up above the copy of the original image. I then created a mask, and used around 4% to paintbrush in the eyes, and surrounding areas.
Thus the highlight area around the eyes. ;)
