About Really. About 1965 or 1966. This was the on location site of the saloon in the movie "Injun Joe." Yeah... not too politically correct these days. I was almost on top of the place as I fumbled with my camera and barely got off a "view finder free shot." I would have stopped, but the Arizona monsoon rain was just too intense. I promise I'll do better next time.

One more comment Mr. Marks. I think the important issue with this image along with others like it is that it is fun. I know too may people who are so uptight when it comes to photography. Not that photography cannot be serious, but sometimes you just have to let go, get out the box and have fun! rp

Mr. Marks, is that a reflection of the KING in the window? Just kidding. The weird colourization of the image along with the motion makes this a way cool photograph. rp

Interesting shot. It's curious how film places become memorable, I stopped in Cong in Ireland, where they shot The Quiet Man with John Wayne, Maureen O'Brien, John Ford directed. "Cohan's Bar" was still there but curiously had never been a bar, but a dry goods store. The ruins of Cong Abbey were a hop a skip and a jump away from the store and were the highlight of my visit there. They didn't appear in the movie. I have seen a Irish Tourism Board brochure which lists all the movie locations that tourists should consider visiting. I have seen the house in Beaufort, SC, where Kevin Kline's and Glen Close's characters "lived" in The Big Chill. The owners apparently regretted cooperating with the movie. They have had idiots trespassing for years. I stood on the road outside and took a quick photo and beat a hasty retreat.
