Lynn, this is a wonderful photo! It really shows the bond between human and dog in such a warm way - it looks as though you are pointing something out to Darcy, and she (he?) is discussing it with you! :)
Have you tried adjusting the color 'temperature' on the sky? It seems a bit cooler than that of the land below it. Nonetheless this is an excellent shot!

Thanks a lot for the lovely comments it really has made my day knowing that some photographers out there have bothered to comment about my picture. It was more luck than judgement though the fact that it turned out as well as it did! I took about 3 or 4 shots in total and this is the best of the bunch!
