hey dave thats for your time that u took writing the comment...well ya the isolation feeling was intended as it was so cloudy and about to rain so it felt like it a little bit...but am still learning hope by next time i do a better job..and btw u have a gr8 range of pics seems like u've been moving alot :)

I find the composition ok, interesting even. The color shift feels too blue to me, like a lot of my old mountaineering pics. However even that adds a cold, isolated feel here -- was that intended?

While the colour here makes the photo interesting in the thumbnail, I think it could have been made even better by re-thinking the composition.
Having a horizon or waterline at the half-way point tends to divide a photo in two in a way that the eye does not find comfortable. Placing the waterline at either the upper or lower third tends to improve and make a photo more attractive.
It's less than clear what you want the eye to focus on. Is it the boat or the scenery? Again - if it was the boat I would have taken the photo (or cropped it) so that the boat appeared in one of the "thirds" positions.
I've looked at your portfolio and clearly you have a good range of images so please don't take this critique as particularly negative.
