Nice capture, James. I like how the arc of the moon is mirrored in the arc of the bridge.

Thanks for the warm up! I love the rich yellows cascading down like a waterfall. Nice composition, per usual, Dave.

Such a special capture, Koc. The colors are wonderful. I especially like the bits of red in the liquid below. Very nice!

A great black and white, Ali. You've really given us a great feeling of depth here. Did you use a threshhold filter? It's one of my favorites.

I really love the sparse feel of this photo, Mitra. Everything from the the composition, and the limited palette and tones speak of a hard winter.

I like the subject matter a lot, Marcelo, and your composition is super. The colors and tones are great. My only thought is that the background is distracting. Below is an example, using the distort feature in Photoshop Elements, of what I think can be done to improve the picture.

I love the intense motion you've captured here, Dan. I think that the ballerina's exquisite balance is detracted a bit by the apparent upward slope to the right of the background. Also, I find the object at the far left somewhat distracting. But it's overall a really pleasing photo.

This is a great composition, Alex. The lighting is absolutely terrific. Well done! There are a couple of things that I might do if it were my photo: crop out the vertical line on the left and some of the darkness on the right, and make the Apple logo less obvious (or sell the photo to Apple for them to use in advertising).

This is a great capture of the girl, Maryam. Her youthful energy feels infectious. When I think of a child dancing, what comes to my mind is carefree lightness and airiness. My own preference would be to lighten the photo up a bit to give it more the feel of the brightness of youth. I've added an example. In any event, you've created a marvelous photo.

The perspective is really nice, Dan. I do agree that some cropping is needed, but maybe not as severe as your crop. I think it would be more useful to leave in the lower part of the left side of the tree to help create more of a natural frame. A little contrast work might help too. I've attached a quick example of what I mean.

An interesting sculpture you've captured here, Susan. I like the colors. I think the basic problem of the photo is that there is too much and too detailed a background for the busts. You might try rephotographing the sculpture from a different angle so that the background is more upstreet and less likely to have a distracting background. I suggest looking at the sculpture from the left. The other aspect is that the dark faces of the busts are lost against the lighter background. You could try using a fill flash to lighten the faces up a bit.

A really fine capture, John. I do think the generally even tones detract from the drama of the action. You might consider converting to grey scale and playing with the contrast a bit to heighten the drama. I've attached a very quick example of what I mean.
