Thank you Pablo. Black bears rarely attack humans except when provoked, there's food around or if you get to close to the cubs. I've seen park rangers chase a bear away by running up to it yelling while hitting the ground with a large tree branch.

I used a zoom lens and held my camera away from the drop zone. There was no chance of getting it splashed.

Very nice effects with the blue flash and softbox. I am curious if you also used a bare flash to get the clear lights in the splash.
Good job, would love to explore the techniques of this photo type further.
