This shot was taken during a Naval Day. The planes were F5's, F16's, Su 27 & Su 31 (Su's are new, just purchased). Indonesia decided to buy the Sukhois rather than another F16's (Lots of anti US sentiments at that time). The US themselves make problems with the Indons for terrorism, travel ban, etc's. The sub is a German's (probably former U-boat but newer).

Great capture. I recognized the planes as Mig-29's, F-16's, and T-38's. Is the submarine, Russian?
As a journalism shot. How about a short decription of the event?
