Good job - hope your camera stayed dry. You could crop off from the top to really immerse the viewer into this.

I like your picture and it suits the title. Since it is speed a tighter crop towards the subject would have given more prominence. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the comment Vanessa! I know that taking a shot of a real cat-skull is a little creepy, that's why I posted it so close to Hallowe'en. Right now I'm using it as my desktop wallpaper on my work computer. Most people find it creepy.

Hey Justin! That doesn't look too bad! I still like the original though. Nice try. Maybe I will try and re-create the shot during the day to see if I can get something different out of it.

Perhaps it does. I just inverted it and upped the curves a bunch. I think i like the original more though.

Thanks for the comments Justin. This was shot outside at night, and my lens was pointing skyward, so I really can't do much with the background. The night sky can only be made so light. I have already altered the brightness/contrast of the shot. Any more alteration would start to wash out the structure. However, it would probably make a pretty cool negative image.. hmmmmm.

Good Work Darren. very appealing to the eyes and nice composition. Was this indoors or outdoors? studio or not? I would like to see the background lightened more than the sculpture. Other than that, great job. Also, thank you very much for commenting on my work justin

Thanks for the comment. I have this full-res shot currently set as the wallpaper on my computer, and on my LCD monitor, the center of the pipe seems to follow you around the room. A very luck shot I'm glad I experimented with.
