Hello Anthony, sorry i didnt respond to your question " whats the subject"? about my 'ONE GREEN BOTTLE' image. Well mate there is no subject, which goes to show how "Green" i am on this or any other internet art forum. Should i of had a subject it would of been 'ten images of "one green bottle' to let me try out my new digital camera!!

The green bottle theme is clever and humourous. Good green theme here, Joe. Good shot of this interesting gothic window, and of course, the colour of the scene though it is...green! A bit of blue in the sky to make sure that colour doesn't get paranoid.
Thanks for the reply to your lakeside pic, about the b/w, I found that a good response and interesting.
Cheers Colin

Thanks for your feed back colin,i really appreciate it. The reason i took this image in black and white {because it was the only film in me camera ha ha !} and why iv taken b/w for years, is because its the only medum i can really express what i see,and what anybody else saw that day, heavy eh? The image [day] was grey anyway, the sun behind the dark clouds was white, the lake water had a little green to it, but the sky filled it with its greyness. A colour shot i feel, would of been moody-depressing. cheer for your comments Joe

Thanks for your comments Paolo, i dont know what i was trying to do that day! when i saw it under the enlarger i felt the best way for the pipe to "snake at me' was the split the image in half, being land and sky. i saw no need to crop anything...but now you mention it, maybe i should of!! thankyou joe

A good, low-level perspective, Joe. An effective landscape, with lots of detail and interest. I'm not sure why you've chosen BW, as this would have been stunning, with the colours typical of this kind of scenery. Overall, the BW and excellent exposure, make this memorable (without birds).

I just gave your work a look and it is marvelous. I shot only digital but I very much envy the person that can shoot film. These B&Ws have a depth and life to them that regardless of how good one is with a digital camera you can not achieve this same feel. Thank you.
