Thank you Mark, your comment it's very professional and i've loved it. I have simply tried to make a pet portrait in a more "human way" and in that moment the light on Matilde was great...i catch the moment... I will try the square crop, since i love the square crop...it remember me the past and the medium format camera. Cheers

Thank you Peta...i love your portraits and it's an honor for me your comment, especially because you did understand that i tried to make a different portrait, in a more "human way" of this lovely pet. Cheers

Fantastic lighting and expression. One side in shadow and one in light is very effectively used here and you have gotten the exposure just right to take advantage of both sides. Also a great expression on the dog, almost pensive. I'd have been tempted to do a square crop on this as the background is a little distracting from the face, I think, though the DOF is excellent. Great detail in the hair too. Nice work!

Molto bella ed originale! Interessante la elaborazione del viso della modella che contrasta con la nitidezza della lampadina... Ottima la realizzazione ma apprezzo ancora di più l'idea alla base del progetto... Complimenti Alberto

Hi John, i used Panorama Maker from Arcsoft and i have found this software very useful, more than Photostich from Canon that was in bundle whit the camera. I toke this shot from the route that divide the lagoon of Orbetello and usually those two sides of the lagoon has different winds so when in a side the wind is calm in the another one the the strenght of the wind is bigger...funny thing no? Thank's for your comment and forgive me for my english...cheers

Lovely view and nice use of the new panoramic feature. I like the contrast of the different water textures either side of the causeway. There's a similar causeway here in Tarifa which is the dividing line between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. The water is frequently very different on either side - I must get out when the weather improves and try a pano capture there. All the best, John
