Love the contrast between the setting warmth of the sun and the cool emptiness of the speedboat.

Brilliant composition! My eye loves to play on the curve, and it's drawn to the deep blue of the sky and the contrasting orange/red of the flag.

Natalie -- You know I love this picture, right? I stare at it in the living room. I can feel the movement of the bullfight, and I like that the colors are blurred just enough to make it interesting to stare. --Jamie

Natalie -- The leaves in this image are fabulous... very painterly. I find myself getting lost in the colors. Looks a lot like watercolor. I might crop the bottom a bit, but you know me, I'm into cropping. --Jamie

Ted -- Looks like a film still of a moody, gothic movie where the main character is fighting his own demons and out late wandering the streets. I love the fog and the reflected light. Nice Holga and capture! --Jamie

Larry -- I think the bird is what makes this picture stand apart from other sunset ocean pictures. I'm glad you didn't PS it out. --Jamie

Tony -- I love this capture. The colors and curve of the road. It really draws the viewer into the image. It could be just my monitor, but is the house a little soft? What time of day did you take this shot? Nice job! --Jamie

Maggie, thanks for your comments. Have you ever heard of the Holga camera? I think not. There is nothing wrong with the pic, at least technically. My scanner is fine, thank you. check out www.holga.com. Also, look at the toy camera category. There are lots of soft, crooked pics there. --Natalie

Melony -- I like this in B&W... I just wanted to see it in color to compare... not that I expected you to have or want one in color. LOL. Did I say how much I like this image? --Jamie

Michael -- I love the detail. The trees and the yellow flowers going between them are perfect. I love how this image fades from warmth to cool as it receeds. Makes me yearn for a summer's day, the smell of wildflowers, and the sound of ciada in the trees. Nice! --Jamie

Kevin -- Saw this shot in the randoms. I am attracted by the simplicity. The mood of the photo. The memory of childhood grown into adulthood. The reflections are perfect. Just wanted to comment since I am always drawn to this one when it shows up. --Jamie

Dave -- Cool little lighthouse. Have you considered cropping out the sign in the lower right corner? I think without the sign the lighthouse is nicely balanced with the streetlamp. --Jamie

Michael -- I really love the colors and mood of this photograph. I think the only things that would make it stronger would be to show the viewer the point of the foreground boat and the rest of the background boat. Though I wouldn't want to see less sky. Those clouds are ominous and perfect. --Jamie

Danny -- This is beautiful. I love the colors and find the image nicely balanced. The railing in front is light on the right but not on the left. I didn't find that distracting though. Very nice! --Jamie

Antonio -- I really like the way your pinhole 6X6 captures in ghost-like quality. It reminds me of swiming and trying to look at things through murky water. I love the green color. I just find myself staring at them... the ones you've posted so far. They are great! --Jamie
