Hey Roger, sorry I have not been around for a year (changed jobs finally). I am not going to comment on Nikon or Canon (I jst spent all my rands on Pentax).

From the critical eye of a camera club person...

Nice composition. No one is badly cut off. ok, the fuzz is there but you are showing on the net so who cares? Well seen and taken. If I were a judge at camera club, you would get a ... Certificate of Merit! Shot dude.

Great shot. I can just imagine him dreaming of the African savannah. They truely are photogenic beasts.

Nice composition. Pity there are not a lot of natural places for our furry family members.

Fantastic shot! Makes one almost dizzy thanks to the slight blur (I personally think it adds movement to an otherwise still subject.) Well done. Thanks for sharing.

This image brings back hectic memories of when our family lived in Atlanta - the little guys also went for the seeds in the feeder - much to Dad and our dog's irritation. Thank you for bringing back some childhood memories.

Nice moody image and really nice that you have got the animal moving from right to left - it makes you really look at the picture as opposed to from left to right.

He really is a little midget amongst the giants but I am sure that when he grows up you will get a shot of him amongst midgets. Well captured shot, excellent composition and DOF!

Really nice to see someone break the rules of conventional landscape composition. It has resulted in a fantastic shot. Well done.

Well, not much more can be said than what Rashed and Greg said other than what caught my eye. The light blue cyan of the clock face really stands out in a beauty of its own. Well captured.

Stunning picture. Really makes you want to comfort the child and makes you wonder what she is looking at.

A spooky image. I love moody pictures and in this one I like the blown-out white contrasting with the deep black and its in between grey areas. Too often a B&W is grey and white butyou have got it perfect. Well done!

I like this story. It has already been said but the lighting here makes a good effect. The rail line leading up to the tree finishes the picture off. Well done.

Nice and interesting picture. Well composed - better to have the tree on the side than centered. Also, nice colour saturation.

Really nice shot. Well captured. It is tricky to get a shot through glass but you did it with good sharpness and without loosing colour. They seem so happy.

Thanks for your comment. It looks more dangerous than it was - although the one guy did come close to hitting me! Number 13 was unlucky for him cause he did not win but lucky for me cause I got the shot. He was not the fastest of the lot so a slightly slower shutter was fine. And, I love my Fuji 200 film!
