I just found it and did it on the original. I havent had time to go back and play anymore.

Hi Brandy,
Did you use a lighting effect under render? If so, I've found that if you make a background layer and apply the lighting effect to that - then you can adjust the opacity to get rid of the line formed by the spotlight. Maybe you already do that, but it really helped me to use the lighting from a b/g layer. Just my 2 cents!

just making my grandkids be models. I didnt like his hand there with it cropped close so was playing in ps and found this. I am not sure what the line on his head is but decided to not worry about it as it might be considered a shadow from something like a window no one agreed so far. I hope to get back to that again and see if I can do better with it.

I have found that some shots that just dont work at all will in b/w. I relay liked this shot with the S curve and probably will never find it again so this is how to save it.

The wings wings look great, the head is a little out of focus. But who wants to see a butterfly's head? They're pretty ugly. I like it.
I agree that the DOF is great and I love the background. Vote? I guess I vote "yes"!

I have never been able to get the perfect focus with my 70-300 lense so I think that is probalby what I was using. I just keep trying but not yet.

Nice shot, Brandy! The dof is outstanding! The butterfly doesn't look like it is quite focused, but the shot is very nice!

I could plan a trip to USA... or you to visit Brasil. :-)
The grayscale I?m used is the radiographs, as we don?t have it in colours yet... :-)
But I love it too. B&W or colours, every image has its story and beauty.
