Very lovely. The translucent effect of the fabric looks wonderful against the sun, with the light coming through. I think the tones could be a little richer, with blacker blacks and a little more highlight to the whites, but otherwise really nice.

Very nice Elizabeth, even if the hair is fake the idea to utilize it to fill the frame is a creative statement itself. I also like to point out the perspective of the shot which you captured looking straight down. Keep it up, your doing great & again nicely done.

This shot really has a lot of love in it, and I like the way you made the hair cover all of the frame. Looks fake yes, but it adds a lot to the shot.Keep up the great work. I won't be doing any updating for about a week cause I'm on holiday back at home.

Niclas

Apart from the fact you cut off the model's head and shoulders, and her face being a bit out of focus, it's a nice shot. I like how you used the blanket for the background, it gives great texture, tones and shadows. Nice job using more DOF to keep it in focus.
Keep shooting.

Ha, teachers!!!!! I guess I can understand why the teacher would say that, in the strictest technique, he/she can invoke the overexposure and lack of balance argument. But it is this so called "mistake" that I think makes the picture so much more interesting. Hey art is about interpretation and personal point of view! I'll come over and have a chat hehehehe! well done! --R.

I prefer the b&w version Niclas did to your image, with color removed what's left is the real essence of meaning & it's integral parts. I share your opinion regarding the dock coming from the right which is distracting, as for the type of camera utilized, it really dosen't matter Elizabeth because in the end it's the image that speaks not the camera. Thanks so much btw for your recent kind comments, cheers.

Excellent composition! I like the repetitive patterns of the chairs. I don't think the glare is a "mistake", I think it fits nicely with the image as it transforms it from a simple B&W still-life to a more dreamy and immaginative picture IMHO. It's almost like there is a veil over the image -- Kind regards, Rafael

Yes Elizabeth you can actually resubmit the same photo (Edited Version), but before doing so make sure you remove the previous one from the site. If you no longer have the original file saved in your PC folder (My Documents/Pictures) then your only option is to mail that same photo from your portfolio to your address then from there to PS. FYI doing so will degrade the image to a certain degree, hope this answers your question, best wishes.

Very nice, free feel. Above her head were her hair and sky meet looks a little blurred like maybe it was softened? This really is fantastic work you have - you should be proud!

Super angle, creates some fun! I think if you were more focused on her face, the background would blur some and she would be in better detail. Great work!
