This was so easy to do Al, it only took about 15 minutes. When it comes to patience though I don't have a great deal of it, but I will admit to never giving up on something. I won't let it beat me until I work it out! LOL Thanks for your support and I would be happy to help out anytime. Amanda

Wow what a superb capture. It is amazing how you captured the action of the shot, but yet you also captured the stillness too...I am in awe! Well Done! Amanda

Great shot Neil..the blue sky against the white of the lighthouse is a great contrast. I thought at first it was the lighthouse at Port Macquarie and then I read it was at Harrington...hope you had a great holiday.

I am glad you appreciated how hard it was to get the capture, as with a 2 year old, you can't ask them to do what you want at the exact time you want, you just have to follow them and snap away hoping to get the shot you are after. Thank you Beverley for your kind words.

I'm glad you found it interesting Barry. I thought I would try something a little different. I didn't know what its botanical name was, I only knew it as the Bird of Paradise, so thank you for telling me...you are a wealth of knowledge!

I am relatively new to usefilm and in my exploring I have just come across this photo and it caught my eye. The different levels/overlaying is so interesting and looks superb in B/W. A very inspiring image!! Amanda

It is clear to see how this one was voted our No1...and my No1 too!! I just loved the crispness of it and how the balloons are softly floating contracted against the strong lines of the bridge. Well Done Neil!!

Thanks Sally for your encouraging comment. This is a colourbond building and the roundness at the front is the bullnose verandah. I'm not sure if you have colourbond over there??? I seen this and thought that would look great in B & W (original is green). I was very happy with the abstractness of it.

I do agree with you on the B & W...the original was in greens and did not have the same impact. Thanks Jeff for your supportive comment - I appreciate it. Amanda

Gorgeous how the blue water blends into the blue sky, then gently softens into the white clouds...very picturesque! Amanda

Aaaaargh!!! Heaps of things flash through my mind when I seen this one... someones last breath...a kangaroo bounding about unaware of the scene he is bounding through...total anticipation of ??????...you get the drift I think. So many feelings from one picture...well done Roger!
