hmmm nice photo! I like the effect of the cars zooming past it gives the picture a busy feel to it. The clouds look great as well. I find the lense flairs a little distracting however as they draw my focus from the street and the buildings. Excellent idea though, keep em coming.

Great one Kat, your first photo of usefilm with your precious d70 and it's great, i bet you have taken just about a million already. I love these slower exposure shots on fountains. You must be stoked. Well done, keep it up treasure head.

Thanks for your input ian. I think i prefer it with the noise because you lose to much detail I think when you soften it. Generally my photos are pretty contrasty and it seems like (i may be wrong) that it makes the photo a bit flatter. I really appreciate your help though, and I think that minimizing the noise a little may have made the photo better. But your example is a bit soft for me. Thanks so much for your opinion and help though.

Hi Kat, Well done another great image. The composition is really excellent here, i also love the shallow depth of field. I don't really think that the noise takes away from the shot too much, it almost fits in with the shot. Keep em coming, can't wait to see some shots from your D70. cheers.

Here's my quick attempt at removing noise. Obviously it might not be your cup of tea and some detail has been lost on the figure standing up. Let me know what you think.

Intriguing perspective making a very interesting shot. I particularly like the shallow depth of field. I imagine you made this image intentionally quite grainy but I feel it might be more impressive with the noise removed. I'll give it a go and post the result.

Hey Kat, good to see you are back on usefilm. Nice shot, the composition and lighting here works really well together. The texture of the umbrella really adds to the shot as well. Well done. Looking forward to seeing some more of your shots.
