Lovely...somewhat eerie. It always stikes me as strange the much of the normal life cycle is based on fire. Something muct burn so that new growth can begin. Nice capture.

Thank you for the coments, Art and Mike.
Mike, I have had the *ISTD since June last year and I absolutley love it. This pic was actually taken with the camera I had prior, the Fuji S7000.
The only prob I have with the *ISTD is dust on the sensor which has been a real bugbear for me. But on the whole, I am really happy with the picture quality.

Hi Karen, this shot brought me to have a look at your collection, I love the composition you have here! The ripples in the water give me the view that they might not be human actually, the shape of the baby is like a dolphin. How do you find your *ist D? I just bought one a couple of months ago!

This is nice Karen. Unfortunately quite a lot of noise in the sky. I assume a very long exposure was needed. I have a couple IR landscapes done with my digicam in my portfolio if you are interested.

For some in the northern hemisphere... we await for spring... while in the southern... it is fall that approaches... and we need a botanist to tell us what the fleur is called...

but tasty or tempting as spring always is

well seen

Thanks Kelly. I dont often post to APTOD, but thought I would chance this one for POTD .
I was at the bottom of Gibsons Steps this morning at sunrise and was amply rewarded for an unearthly wake up time.
