Hi Alex... Great shot!! It looks like you took this photo when she was deep in thought. It's a really interesting look on her face! The only suggestion I might have is a reflector (or large piece of posterboard) to use as a sunblock/reflector. It would give her eyes just a little kick ane keep the side of her face from having that hot spot.

Hi Kevin... I have a tough time with macros myself, but would like to suggest if you could isolate one of the flower blooms and make it the main focus of the photo you might be pleased with the results. For nice macro work, you should check out my brother's stuff...his name is Danny Provost. He chases bugs, frogs, dragonflies and various other insects around his wifes flower garden regularly!! Keep shooting!!

Bill... I should have known this was your photo before I even looked at the name!! I'm happy to see you're still out here. This is a very beautiful shot...makes me feel like it's at the end of a long, summer day.

Really beautiful. No hot spots and the detail is great.

Sarah.. Unbelievably beautiful babies - of course what else would I expect from you! Very sweet, soft photo of Morgan. Keep shooting...once they grow, you can't get these moments back! Much Love, "Auntie M."

Sameer,

Very, very nice... where did you take this from? Obviously taken just before dark - but for me, finding and angle to take this from was darn near impossible.

Without a doubt this is likely the most subtly, beautiful portrait I've ever seen. I love the softness and back lighting.

The pose doesn't bother me at all either. Maybe having her relax one (or both) of her arms to sit naturally at her sides would have given her a more at ease appearance. I agree that holding a flower would have looked hokey.

I wish I had one this nice of me! ...if only my big brother would quit chasing frogs and bugs around his yard. *WINK*

What a great photo! What did you have your shutter speed set on? You captured the motion of the water without it looking like a big blur. Fantastic!

Phillip...this is just beautiful. The tones of her skin are lovely and you've managed to pick up the subtle colors in the flowers so perfectly! The only thing I find just a bit distracting is that 2nd piece of tulle in the background. It seems to "compete" with her veil a little. (just my thoughts though!)
Really a wonderful shot and one I would be drawn to if I saw it in a boutique.

Priceless photo - and really sweet & serene. With 3 girls, I'd venture a guess it won't be that way for long around your house! Congratulations!

Roy - this looks like it should be a postcard! The sky seems just blue enough to keep it from being dreary - but just gray enough to make the picture feel a little melancholy.
Great job!

Connie - I think this is really cute. The kitten looks like it's trying to escape the grasp of the flower!

Word on the street is the driver wouldn't stop because the van was hurtling down the highway at a high rate of speed when the passengers elected to shoot photos of the skyline...using the window as a makeshift tripod and the rear seat passengers as look-outs for hedges, signs, and street lights. Amazing! Wish I could have been there to see it...

Are those people in the center there? It sure looks like it- and what a great way to show how small we are in comparison. Wow... what a beautiful scene to capture on film.

Hi Ken - What a great expression on her face! I have to agree the moulding in the background is a bit distracting - maybe you could find something to use as a backdrop. How do you like the 400VC film? Did you find the results accurate and are you happy with the overall film? Please feel free to e-mail me at mprovost35@hotmail.com

Hi Jason - This is obviously where that phrase "a picture says a thousand words" takes meaning! What a great shot. I love how the fence posts make your eye move to the little boy - and his expression is priceless.
