I will rate this as best in you puri series. Lightinh is very difficult.
250 at f8 and 100 ISO look preety challenging. At what time of day did you took this picture/ Did you underexpose deliberately or use a filter?
Good photgraph. Thanks for sharing

Hi Mr Bose,
Thanks for your reply and I appreciate your work in PS. You are fairly close to what I wanted, only thing I need is litte more warmth on the grains. I can try changing selective color or change white balance a little to get what I am looking for.
Can you please share the workflow you have done. Did you select the birds using marqueue? That must have been painful task.

Thanks Anindya.
Agreed about your point regarding the birds. Any sugession to fix the problem is welcome. In PS its difficult to marque the birds using free hand tool. I think there is a method of doing channel selection and mark the outlines. But I do not know the exact details how to do that. Do you know the technique?
Thanks Aurobindo

Yes you are right. Kolkata Maidan is a huge open area in Kolkata (earlier known as Calcutta) in India. The ground that was built during by British rule, and it is said in some parts of the ground there is storage of arms underneath. These are the horses of mounted police.
Thanks for your comments Miller.

I used GND filter. Along with that smoke from cigerate I puffed from side to create the fog effect. These were at the site.
In Photoshop processing, I enhanced the colors selectively, adjusted the curve to increate contrast and shadows and light sharpening and framing.
Thanks for your comments Debu.

Awesome debu. Tobe ektu shaky lagche. I am refering to the Howrah bridge. Bars gulo khub sharp now. 125 speed'ta bariye 250'e hole arektu bhalo hoto na? Naki F8'e better chilo? In that case tobe ISO barate hoto. ISO 200 ba 400'e ki khub grains ashe D80'te? Tui ki eta handheld niyechis? Tripod'e rekhe ei chobigulo dekte parish. But I may be completely wrong. May be these are due to digital artifacts, and there is no way to avoid that in digital. Ekhanei film'er joi.
Tui WA lens'er darun use korchis. Chobigulo really great. Kobe kinli?
