Hey Gaja,
Looking at this closer now, I see that this has a very shallow DOF. I was wondering if you tried this with a wider field of focus? This one made me look around for a while to figure out what part of it was in focus and I was sort of surprised to find that it was the third ear of corn in from the front. I think if all three ears were in focus, this photo might feel more comfortable.... if that makes any sense?

Ligth and the use of lens are good... but the important parte here is the special moment of nature.. the woman (a natural criature) the pregnancy (something very natural), and the happines (natural in humans.. ).. you captured a special moment in the creation of life!

I undertand now the way you treated the angle of ligth, so she can have a transparency in her eyes.. I like it very much.
I would like to see her eyes in the same pic. but in color!... Green?... blue?...ligthe brown?...

A quiestion: How many pic you have to lake to find the proper ligth, the pose, the shadows and all that if you are not looking trhugth the lens... I love your "self" it has everything.. color, ligth, pose, drama (very serius expresion lke lonlynes (soledad).
