great close up portrait. Your daughter is a very cute modell!
I think the super soft light works great here, but as someone alse already pointed out, the eyes look a little odd. It seems you brightened them up a little. A lot of photographers do that to bring the eyes out more, but it can quickly look artificial if overdone. I do it, too, but try to keep it subtle and I always use a very soft brush.

very sweet portrait, I like the composition with the rough bark. Creates a nice contrast both in tones/brightnes, but also the fragile girl and the rough tree bark.

Niiiiice Original angle on things Dawn. You have a nice portfolio, and both you and your daughter are very photogenic. I hope you make it as a Pro Photographer, good luck.

i wander if the girl was smiling.. but the title and the overall looking of the photo give me a "sad emotion"
maybe what made me think so is the way she is holding her teddy "dog" and the way she is standing next to the wall.. + the wall itself is mmmm.. it doesnt seem to be a safe place for a child!!
anyway.. this is the emotional part of the photo.. BUT the way this photograph was taken is GREAT i like it and therefore i opened at the first place.. it did capture my intrest! good work!!

I like the composition a lot, but I, too, think it needs more contrast or altering of the tones. It does seem a bit dark. I like the concept though.

Great mood and body language. Something funky going on with the flat contrast but dark bits around the head. Not sure if it is just my laptop monitor or what??

I love this! Ina ny other picture I would think the cropping was real weird, but I really love it here, it works so well! I liek that you kept this in color... and I love the expression on her... she is so cute! I love pictures of kids laughing, and this one is one of my favorites! Nice work
