Todd,
Good to hear from you.
Without getting into the details, I have been away from UF for several weeks. I hope all is well with you and that you are busy continuing to create those wonderful, distinctive images of yours.

Marian,
Thanks for your comments. If you get a chance, take a look at the cropped version. You and Jeanette were right. Thanks again.

Jeanette,
Great use of the angular line created by the shadow.

P.S. Look for a reposting of my image based upon your suggestion. Thanks.

James,
Water related ... but in an indirect way. The image is of a portion of a folded beach chair, where the fabric is dark blue, and the wooden supports are casting the darker blue shadows.

Todd,
Love it!!
Cool image ... and the ivy is so alive ... not in a plant-like way, but more like an alien ... its tentacles are reaching out and the end is an inevitable one, isn't it?

Without a doubt a 7!!

Todd,
Great image!
Great song! Not many people were into Pink Floyd back when they did Meddle. The way they could move the sound around an auditorium when they performed that song live was incredible. But I gigress ...
I never tire of your street scenes. You always see things with such clarity, compose and capture them for the rest of us to enjoy.
Nicely done.

John,
Very clever. I love the intensity of the colors ... it takes the natural object and adds a man-made, almost plastic quality ... which makes for an interesting presentation of the leaf.
Well done!

Marian,
Its nice how your hurband kept the recessed light in the frame (upper left). Its a nice little addition to a interesting, moody, image.

Excellent,
I like the way the oar is just captured in the upper right hand corner of the image ... very soothing colors and nice composition.

Mohamed,
Great colors, capturing the last bits of light at day's end.
Nice sentiment with the quotation also.

James,
I'm providing you, below, with my comments on Grassland II. Whenever I tried to post the comment, I kept getting an error message ... which gives me some comfort, because it is a stunning image, and I couldn't understand why there were no comments. Others must have encountered the same problem. Here it is ...
"James,
An awesome beauty, that so many of us will never get to see first hand. The vastness, the emptiness, the colors ... combine for a wonderful image.
Extremely well done.
Mark"
I hope all is well with you.

Cool angle and composition! The shaft of light running along the inside edge of the metal rod on the right (at 3 o'clock) cathes the eye.

It looks as if you have been at the marina ... nicely composed, and to have taken the image so as to create the angular lines moving from corner to corner.
Well done!

Interesting the way you've aligned the lamp pole and the lines from the building ... and of course, its all really about the sole image in the window of the modern monstrosity. Great work!

WOW!
Great image John!
However, I would have been tempted to title it Gypsy Moth, or something along those lines, and let the viewer figure out exactly what it really is.
Superb!
Best regards,
Mark
