sorry for answering late, just had to look for a drink ;-)
Of course, it´s not the hair that disturbs me, but the fact that the one hair looks like a little scratch.
But as I said: Great look and photo anyway

Well, it's not bad, quite romantic actually, but it' was not my conception. I deliberately used sepia, because of the way the bride looked, and her dress wasn't white either, but a color between white and brown, and the whole point of her expression "on love" was that she was not looking into the camera, almost as if I hadn't been there, so....But thanks anyway,
My best regards,
H.

Quite a nice portrait - maybe would have been better if she was looking more towards the camera.
I took the liberty of making a few adjustments, hope you don't mind!
I changed it to greyscale, then adjusted with the curve command to give the image more contrast.
Hope you like it.

Greetings.
you are right about the hair, i agree with you, and I don't mind your comment, I don't fully agree with your point of viuew though. First I wanted the picture black and white, the left part of it totally black, and the right part of it almost burnt out, but the colors have really gotten to me, so I left this one stay "alive", but I didn't wanna go too far, so I covered up most part of the picture.
Thanks for your critique though,
regards,
helea

Hello Helea, few words about this work, if you don't mind.
The model is really very cute and has a clean and fresh smile, very photogenic. The green background makes a very nice contrast with the black of her hair and the lateral, diffused light gives a nice morbid effect on her face. Looks like you took this picture in the late afternoon, when light becomes very soft and diffused, and colours get brillant and vibrant.
There are few things which I don't like, though: first, the whole picture looks really too dark, at least with my monitor which seems to be quite well calibrated though: all the left half of the photo looks black, without details and it is a large portion of the composition; still, in the left top corner of the photo is visibile a lighter part that disturbs a little bit. And, being picky, her eye is really too dark: I woulf have liked to see at least some of the white part. Watch also her hair: they seem to come out from the model's mouth... The black frame makes this picture even darker, if possible. Hope these critiques can be helpful!

Very interesting conceptual work. I like, very much, the play between the darkness behind her and the colour and light in front of her. Leaving the past behind and looking forward for a clear, bright future... Also, this duality of light/dark and the shape of the figure, immediately made me think of a yin-yang composition.

Well done!!!

F.
