Hi Peter, I tried autofocus, but it would not lock-on, so used manual focus & a lot of patience!!!! Cheers, Steve.

I don't mind at all Marc, I am here to learn! Did you adjust levels by hand here, or use the 'black point', 'white point' tool? I'm still very much a beginner so your help is much appreciated! Regards, Steve.

Well captured Steve! Thanks for the credit you give me.........but i have not yet captured a hoverfly flying . I have been trying a lot but no succes yet.The details on yours are exellent though. How do you focus on something as tiny as a fly when it moves around? Doesend your lens hunt all the time?

Great Shot, I wish I could take pictures like this. So far I haven't found the right formula. Yes, I think Fabrizio's rework is a bit over the top. I hope you don't mind, here is my take on it. It's not much different than the original, but I think that it's a bit less hazy without altering the colours much.
Cheers, Marc

Very stunning landscape shot, Steve. While I think Fabrizio's rendition is a little over-the-top, I do agree with his portrayal of the hills in the distance. Just a little more depth!

This is a splendid shot! This little guy is holding on tight to those fragile branches with the clear blue behind him. You caught him perfectly, and the textural details are wonderful. Hooray for the LBJ! Best regards, --George
