This is a bridge that has become a familiar sight to me purely through the images of Usefilm!

An excellent scene from this location. I like the contrast of the dark boats against the lighter background.

A minor issue, but I think a slight rotation anti-clockwise is called for. The fact that the image is not perfectly straight is emphasised by the vertical lines of the bridge.

Thank you so much, Ray. The second version was actually reinstated before I read this comment. I like to check how my uploaded images look in different browsers etc., and in my haste I managed to delete it. Anyway, it's back now along with your much appreciated comment.

Comment: An excellent bookmark presentation for this posting and it provides a far greater impact than the original IMO my friend. It is a wonderful composition that would stand enlargement and framing. I would hang it at home had I taken the shot AJ. Great stuff, I love it. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

This springs to life in the full pano view - wonderful depth and detail. I particularly like the contrast between the sharp spots of light in the buildings against the smooth streaks of light in the water.

I wonder if you might consider a very slight rotation to the left - this would level up the shoreline and make the Woolworth building (perhaps the most prominent in the image) vertical.

-33C? Makes Warsaw's -2C feel positively hot!

I like the added dimension that the trees and steam give to this image, as well as the colour in the sky. You have a fine view from your apartment!

Amazing that the fort has withstood the relentless pounding of the waves. With the mist around its base, it almost looks as though it is not real. The bench on the beach seems somewhat incongruous - and yet how often do benches remain unused by the public? A scene that raises all sorts of questions...

Erm, is that not snow on the ground? Flip flops? Ah, you mean THAT sort of tough! We call it something else over here...

I can hear it! Love the shapes in the sand, no doubt enhanced by the B&W conversion. Inclusion of the figure gives depth and scale, so easily lost in the desert...

The light on the railings and the splash of pink pull this image out of the ordinary. Could perhaps be a touch sharper, but I like it.

A strong image, somehow giving character to these yellow beasts that are threatening the poor helpless pedestrian crossing the road in the rain...

The tones are superb, and there is a wonderful echo of the shape of the road in the cloud.

The empty space at the top provides a counter-balance to the stairs, Steven. Removing or reducing this space would change that balance.

Perhaps not a particularly beautiful building, but it produces a fascinating play of lines in B&W! Nicely observed.
