Wow, that's quite a comment Hussam! Many thanks!

Thanks Ann. Actually, they were all very good natured about it and thought it was quite amusing that I should "participate" in their photo.

Thanks Ania - I found the different attitudes of each person in the family intriguing. Only one person appears to be concentrating on "their" photographer.

An extreme point of view - I like it!

Wonderful light, and I like the restricted palette with the echo of colours in the sky. But what's happened to the trees on the right? (Maybe you replaced the sky here?)

Very elegant. I like the way the tones in the sky echo the main subject.

Nice shot - the musician stands out well despite the very busy background. But surely by Nov 2007 Akwaryum was buried beneath the InterCon?

Nice contrast of building styles, and some interesting "additions": the art at bottom right and the lamp pole against the only spot of blue sky. I'm slightly concerned that you've lost the top of the Palace of Culture, but overall I find this a fine image of my adopted city!

The tangle of stems provides an excellent backdrop to the bright red fruit. Superb concept (and "about").

I'm not sure if it's just me, but could the focus be just a little sharper on the most prominent berry on the right?

Haha - the spurs and hat are great, but it is the serious determined look that make this!

In the past, one of the arguments against overhead railways / tramways etc was the obtrusive nature of the infrastructure. Maybe this is evidence that this need not be the case - it looks as though this structure adds to the cityscape (at least at night).

Great exposure. The blue tint against the predominant orange is the highlight of this image.

Great to see this on the front page today, Tony, because a) it's a wonderful shot (the texture in the snow on the grass is fabulous) and b) a new SC award suggests UF could be coming back to life!

Thanks Ray. I think he is a pretty happy bear, despite being in a zoo. However, he is in a rather special part of the zoo, in an enclosure separate from the other animals, beside a tram stop where passersby can stop for a chat...
