Hi Tom,
Always like to see photos of neon signs and this one also has a blue tinge which make the pavement stand out a bit more, which is great. I feel myself peering into the photo looking for something which isn't there. Maybe the enterace door open and folk standing aroung talking would give this photo a focal point.

Graham

Hi Antonio, I think this has the potential to be a really great shot with the way you've capture the colour of the trees, the shadows leading from the path and the curved white stone wall. I feel the rule of thirds would help this photo alot. More path and less sky, still a good capture.
Regards,
Graham

Hi Dierk, The great expance of emptyness really comes through well here, the inclusion of people in the photo give good perpective aswell. The overall 'feel' of the photo is negative (the clouds and expance of nothing) and maybe an empty bench would carry more weight. Just a thought,
Graham

I like it, no idea why, I just do. Plates are too clean for my partiality, a few crumbs and a touch of runny egg and the dregs for a milky white tea. cool

Hi ya Kita, I'm faaaae aberdeenshire, just about the furtherest away from Colonsay as you could be in Scotland, and youself?? As for the cowpats, I don't mind my ball going in a sand trap, but a shit trap carries more than a one stroke penalty.

Wonderfull, I thought the centre tree was a cross to begin with. I found the tree roots slight too dark and uninteresting so I've cropped them out to compare it.

Cameron, I like stuff that works and is built to last. For me nothing beats a car that was build 20 ot 30 years ago but refuses to die. What's the point in the new digital camera's. Spend $$$, but three years down the line you'll buy another one. Oh I can feel a rant coming on so I'll stop there.

Excellent shot. The rock looks is unbelievably sharpe for such a small object. It appears to be an island rather than a small stone.

Hi ya Kita,
I think I know who ya mean. No exactly in the first flush of youth. Did you meet his partner in crime, Ken? A right double act. The chicken's weren't eating their porrage so the eggs where just regular, but I remember the milk being the wonderfully creamy.

Hi Kita, Really love your photos, they all have a strong identity. Great mix of colours and shapes here with the sprinkling of sand, wonderful. Colonsay sand? Kiloran Bay is my favorite beach, beautiful.

They say capturing the eyes is the key to a good portriat photo, but I don't think you were supposed to take it literally. Love your portfolio, wonderful images.

You've got a few cracking sunsets here. Like the framing here, with the bands of light similar to a rainbow emmiting from the centre. Cool

I do like a good landscape, and this definatly fits the bill. It could be Loch Moy, which is a stone throw away from Culloden battlefield. If it is, the larger of the islands you should be able to make out a small castle.
