Night Creeper.... hmmm, I wonder why.
Cozy picture, funny looking santa-Indonesian version maybe, nice crop and a very steady tripod. Or, very steady hands-hand rails (tremor is nowhere insight)
Chon, kenapa gak dipercantik dgn border, frame, atau apa kek. Pake IrfanView, gak nyampe 3 menit udah pake frame tuh gambar - tambah cantik, freeware lagi!
... Wishing you & family a merriest and coziest and happiest season of the year, may all wishes come true!

Ochon my man...surely you SHOULD left ice cream eating habit at the closet of ugly skeletons!
Just joking!
Nice ice cream - not so nice composition. upper left section - a chest or a chair with somebody's arm? Strange opinion could emerged...
Right section - some blurred female's hand with a ring on it - what a pity - new girl? oh, then I'm happy , ha..ha..! Sitting so close to you...hmm
What? Not even a female's? Oh no!

He..he..Chon, there was other bystander, just me. The reflections on the glass in front of me was un-avoidable since there were glasses everywhere around the curved wall and also up - down side from where I stand.
The "sunrays" - horisontal yellow line - is no sunrays at all, sorry. That was the direct reflections of continous pathway lighting, 2 meters behind me :-)
If that should look like sunrays, I am happy tho! And the flower like pattern and the right end of the sunrays was I think-also some ornamaments (..not sure) behind me, bit distracting I agree.
Even more distracting, IMHO, is the pole at the right...a little more cropping or my changing position could result a better picture.
Now, my friend, now at the opposite section of that floor, there's the best Thai Resto in town! The Thai and I (rhyme sounds familiar?)
Try it, if you're not already! Thanks for your idea!

Thanks! Actually the picture is not totally B/W, I just desaturate to some extent :-)
You can see the flowers on the foreground has some colors left. The little girl's expression, in my view, is "unusual" with the curly hair and all.

Met Lebaran, mohon maaf lahir batin my friend!
I'd love it better if you crop the people at the left (motorbike) and the right (busy crowd)-then there's only the becaks/mechanized rickshaw.
Hope you wasnt taking it while driving :-) Cheers, Rendy

As always, nicely captured & being shot sometime near midnight. Lurker ... ;-)
I'd say I love it better when cropped from the 2nd umbrella down and you move the shot a littttle bit to reduce the dark void on the right; If possible.
Anyway, you're the man! Keep up the good work, Chon!

Thanks for the encouragement guys!
Yes, the moon is too small (since it was in early phase) and my optics is so limited.
I did try using f2.8 (max. available) but the shadows on the wall bluurred/or the moon blurred So, balancing both object I ended up using f5.6. Too bad also, the camera shutter can only open at 15 sec. maximum
Thanks for the advice, I'll try 'em later - when I got a better equipment ;-)

Well, still a nice capture, considering that subject's surrounding needed a "nightshot" to see.
I see the point, some people like us may know what a colonial house in Indonesia looks like, but some may not; so your comment certainly shed a light. Ducth colonialisation: most of the Dutch houses in Bandung, East Java, were built in 1910~1940. Happy lurking, friend :-)
PS: Many of those beatiful houses now turned into more 'modern' shops, mall, offices. Too bad.

Sony, how about open up a little bit so we could see, whats on the right part of the pbulding or maybe to the back of the building, just a bit more -so to emphasis the word "colonial".
