I'm curious why you added this to the 'Children' category because to me, it looks like an angry old tree. The effect is interesting, but i do think the edges around the eyes do need a more 3D effect to make them appear a real part of the tree.

Congratulations! Good timing :) That photo was the part of serie shot? Sonic boom on airshow? I hear it is allowed only in underpopulated areas, in war and over the sea.

Clive, I agree. I should have pushed the mids a bit. In the original I wanted to watch the highlights on the towel from getting blown out, but pushing the mids wouldn't affect that adversely. Thanks for the comments.

Hello Stephen, To my old eye's, the skin tone's are a little too gray.
I would suggest that a slight adjustment be made with the curve command. This will lighten the skin tone to a more acceptable tone.
Here is my adjusted copy, hope it looks OK on your monitor!

Thanks for the comment. I had one with his whole head but I chose this one because I wanted to focus in on the eyes and use a small DOF. I looked at a bunch of your photos as well. Very nice work. Thanks again.
