Simply beautiful. I love the glowing warmth and the added detail of the birds.

I too have a number of sunset pics, though not as good as yours, also check out my friend's sunset images, Lorraine Nelson she is very good.

I love the contrast in this shot, ag reat perspective too adding interest. I love the aura which surronds the central flower, beautiful.

I have taken a number of florals but have yet to acheive one as lovley as this. Well done.

I cannot believe that such a dramtaic and thought provoking portrait as this can only attract comment from one other member. Perhaps some users fell it a little too politically sensitive for their tatse; pity.

Great work!

This one has quite a heavenly aura andit's not hard to see why many of the locals call this God's country. You did well to capture such an atmospheric and moody moment.

Like Ian, I too am amazed at the lack of appreciation for this image. I think much of it has to do with the fact that many members are based on the other side of the Atlantic and so are tucked up in bed when we post our piccys.

Shame because they are missing out on some superb stuff from you!

Well done again,

Pete

Great capture, I always have difficulty getting this sort of shot right you have it spot on. The reflections are superb.

Keep snapping!

Beautiful warmth to this image Lorraine, I particularly like the foreground detail provided by the isolated tree. The reflection is cool too.

Nice one!

Nice strong contrast, I think the orange would have been a lot better placed to one side of the image (remember the rule of thirds!) and the glare on the ornge makes me think it is a tad overexposed too.

Ail is right, I'm new to photography but even to me your choice of aperture seems very wide for the speed you were shooting at considering the bright conditions.

That said, it's still a very nice image

Well done Julie, this is near my neck of the woods so to speak and I feel that you have gone a long way toward capturing the spirit of the region

You might be right actually, the repost seems bare and loses charachter, but I guess you already knew that.

I really like this one Flemming I think it works very well, especially seeing how still the water appears. I think it may have been better with a greater depth of field to bring the background more into focus though.

I hope you don't mind me being honest but I think this photo would be much better if you were able to get a bit closer so that the small trees are removed from either side of the frame. The trees are bare and distracting which is a shame as the castle looks interesting and it could be done better maybe. Try again perhaps.

I like the subtle colours in this shot but as a small point I'm distracted by the fact the horizon does not appear level. Sorry.

Fantastic!

I love the symmetry and the use of lines. The colours are warm and strong with plenty of interest. The pier leads the eye right into the middle of the shot.

As I said before, fantastic!

Wow such vibrant colours! Has the image been enhanced or did you use filters to bring out the colours? My attempts at beach photography often end up glared out by the harsh light.

Well done!
