Great shot, Liz. I agree with you, that this side should include more critical works. This is a great one. Do you know the pictures taken by Barbara Klemm? Regards, Thomas

I like the closeness and the softness in this little one's skin. You can almost feel the sweet, moist baby breath on your cheek.

Composition looks great, and the threatening sky makes for a nice contrast to the usual clear blue skies on photos from the area.
It does look very dark though, but that could be this screen rather than the photo itself.
Yes, millions have shot at the rim of the Grand Canyon making some believe it's been done to death. But nature is forever changing, always different. Add the different minds of photographers not tethered into the frame of thinking dictated by "masters" and "experts" and originality will still be possible. Were that not the case the world would be a less interesting place as a result.
I've been at the Grand Canyon only once and the timing was very unfortunate (we were staring into the sun the entire time we were there) so I have few images to remember it by.

hey welcome to Usefilm! if this kid is tired, the adult gave up long ago! Coming from experience. Great idea and execution. the softness really makes this photo as does the composition.

True it's been done to death. But hey i always look at it like. what hasn't been done here. And this is a photo of this area that really shows a mood. Unlike others i have seen. Fantastic image and lighting you were there at the right time.
Cheers, Tim

Great shot. I love the colors here, except for the wooden surface, which imho doesn't combine with the rest (maybe a glass table or something a bit metallic would go better). Still, a nice image. Cheers.
