Thats a cool action shot and the sky is wow. I think a little black border would make it look better. Still it looks good how it is but anyways nice capture.

yeah, i would agree marc, ND would and could have helped with metering the sky and balancing out compositionally, a grad ND would have cut right down the middle diag so i decided not to do it on this shot, usually i hold up a P series coken to the 77mm 10 - 22mm it works well, but for this one i was almost under the ramp with my freind vinny coming at me at 15 to 20 MPH didnt really have both hands, ha ha ha, PS i agree much color correcting and dodgeing were done to sky to compensate... thanks for viewing buddy, i always appriciate the comments and critique

ya, really cool shot. Only thing I can suggest is to try an ND grad filter to darken the sky and brighten the jump and rider, i.e. balance the foreground and background better. Or dodge and burn in photoshop. Cheers, Marc

it is a multiple exposure all that guessed taht have it right, but its multiple bursts on the 20D you can roll through six shots as fast as the shutter speed of that scene metered will allow, then i take all those images and put them together in PS CS, a beautiful technique with very good results, as long as you can hold the camera still and not rotate it to much, otherwise post work becomes kind of more involved...
thanks for all the views and comments, this one was shot by my freind vinny, of me doing the jump at winterpark, the colors were sort of bland but i liked the silohette, so i color corrected in PS as well, i love the results, thanks again all

Stunning Phillip! I assume it a multiple exposure, love how it varied exposures make the shirts look different colours adding the sense it but it a minor point. Just great action and view.

Very nice composition, I would agree with Chris` suggestion. Another possible improvement could be an unsharp mask for the resized image, an advice I give very often on UF. You lose detail after the resize / jpeg process, and I am quite sure the original is quite sharp, I have the 50/1.8 myself.
