This is such a lovely idea for an image and so well delivered. I don't think I've ever seen so much character in an animals eye! but only through what you have done

best wishes

Hi Jamie,

It is a strange but lovely light too. I know what you mean about that wierd light, I recently captured a beach shot in a really really wierd light in Dunedin, all the colours were out of whack.

wow, what a great shot annabella, I love the backlight and use of flash, nice contrast that balance really well with a beautiful subject matter. An almost surreal feel to it,

Hi anabella,

thanks for your recent comment, love the 'wind of change' idea.
This is a wonderful shot, I love that it makes you smile when you look at it, you can't but smile. Clowns normally scare me! But she is displaying and you have captured a genuine happiness that you can't fake,

really nice shot

kind regards

Hi Andy,

really love this approach to your portrait, great light and positioning, although I wonder how it would look cropped tighter, could it have a stronger impact? Very nice work

Hi Kostas,

thanks for your recent critque,
just been having a looking part way through your folio- vibrant and challenging. This image caught my eye particularly, I love the way the lines of light are found all over the image;in the car, mirror etc..and that you used 35mm, great work.

Quite quirky and almost like animation. I'm sure I can see the top one smiling! Quite unusual but I like it,

Hi Ali,

firstly I see this is your 1st image on usefilm, so welcome
And secondly, I really like what you've done, great idea, and composition between the two men, and use of colour, although I feel the colour is perhaps a little too strong.
Happy usefilming!

Hi Jim,

this is lovely, I really like this style. My eye is obviously drawn to the in focus flower but also wants to focus on the centre flower. I feel the balance would work more effectively if that flower was also or more in focus. That is my humble opinion of an already very lovely image,

Kind Regards

Hi Hugo,

thanks very much for your indepth critique. And yeh I did consider cropping the pole on the left but somehow I perfered it there, but I can see what you are saying. I think I had cropped, uncropped recropped etc... looked at it too long and ended up leaving it! And I did enhance the blue hues too, only very slightly as it was quite a great light already,

thanks again Hugo

Hi Peter,

just been having a look at your folio...really great. Great macro's and lots more. I especially like this, the angle works really well. I have done a lot of view/landscapes on an angle and not all work, but yours really does
